Petition to End Water Fluoridation

Petition Summary and Background: We, the undersigned citizens of Mount Horeb, demand fluoride stop being added to the drinking water due to its damaging health effects as recently noted by the Environmental Protection Agency. Furthermore, it has been documented by the American Dental Association and the Center for Disease Control that fluoridated water is harmful to infants, children under the age of 8, the elderly, diabetics, and people who suffer from hypothyroidism and decreased kidney function. We should not expect members of our community to have to obtain their water from another source while paying taxes for municipal water services. The Village Administrators have been provided with documentation supporting these facts and are now in receipt of overwhelming valid scientific evidence relative to the dangers of fluoride. In order to protect our health, we demand the removal of fluoride from our water.

Action Petitioned for: We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens of Mount Horeb who demand our leaders to act now to remove fluoride from the municipal water system.
